MALAYSIA: Islamica Money Group To Launch Islamic Banker Asia This Month

Islamica Money Group will be launching the inaugural issue of Islamic Banker Asia, a monthly magazine that focuses on an extensive range of issues happening in the Islamic banking and finance industry in the region.

The company, which will launch the magazine in the third week of this month, will also provide exclusive coverage, breaking news and the latest developments in the global Islamic banking and finance on its online Islamic Banker Asia.

Its Chief Executive Officer (Asia Pacific and Middle East region) Muhammad Fadzil Abdullah said the magazine was set to make a lasting and meaningful contribution to the development of global Islamic banking and finance.

“We began our journey to make our mission to be a global partner in growing and shaping the future of the global Islamic banking and finance industry a reality,” he told Bernama via email here today.

Among its target readers are Islamic bankers, Islamic finance professionals, policymakers, academicians, students and those working or have interest in any field related to Islamic banking and finance.

The company, which also produced a monthly magazine for global coverage, Islamic Banker, is also looking at producing an Internet television series, Islamica Money Talk.

Muhammad Fadzil said the Internet television series would feature eminent international experts and scholars who would discuss and share their views on a wide range of issues concerning Islamic banking and finance.
