Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a top tier Islamic financial services institution, signed an agreement with Dubai Education Zone to provide exclusive products and services to teachers and employees.
The agreement was signed at the premises of the Dubai Education Zone by Samih Awadhalla, Head of branches at ADIB, and Dr Ahmad Eid Al Mansouri, Director General of Dubai Education Zone.
Through the partnership, ADIB will launch dedicated services, products, offers and discounts tailored to the needs of those operating in the Dubai Education Zone. The bank will also look to deliver courses to educate working professionals in the Zone on the framework of Islamic banking.
The agreement will also see Dubai Education Zone give ADIB access to data of teachers to allow services to process more efficiently – essentially enabling a better banking experience.
The education sector is a key priority for ADIB as the partnership helps the bank support working professionals at the Dubai Education Zone by providing them with access to a range of services that meet their every banking need – right at their place of work.
Dr Ahmad Eid Al Mansouri, Director General of Dubai Education Zone, said: “This agreement will allow our staff to benefit from discounted banking services ranging from direct salary deposits, personal banking, as well as financing and insurance.”
Dubai Education Zone was established to develop educational outcomes that match government and market requirements by providing tailored training programmes for educational and administrative staff in schools and educational institutions, in cooperation with internationally recognised universities and colleges.
